Contributing (or Guest posting as it is more commonly known) is a way for you to reach our members by showing of your skills, knowledge or expertise in your industry sending us a post that would be informative and helpful to them.  Each post, once published, is emailed directly to our subscribers and of course will be indexed by the search engines meaning you get double bonus for the contribution!

What are we looking for?

• We are looking for practical business based information about a company, service, industry or  product related to the Costa Del Sol not self promotional waffle that simply regurgitates self promotional aims.
• We are looking for posts of any length – as long as they’re helpful to readers we don’t mind if they are long or short.
• We are not looking for posts just about business.  Anything related to the local area, activities, events, fund raisers, dinners or even parties that would be of interest to the network is considered – just make sure its quality content.
• We are not looking for posts with lots of self promotion. You’re welcome to mention what you do and will have a byline link but let your quality content promote you (its the best way for people to consider you as an expert!).
• We are looking for content not published elsewhere – not because we are wanting to keep all the good stuff for myself but because of issues of duplicate content (Google hates duplicate content). Feel free to post on the same topic elsewhere – but it needs to be in an original form.

As we mentioned above, each post will have a byline with your accreditation and link to your own website for our readers and subscribers to find out more about you. We do get alot of submissions so we cant promise we will use everything but we will certainly do our best!

Here are the guidlines we have to post on our site:

• Please send Business First your information in PLAIN TEXT format. This means there should be not bold text, italics, highlighting, coloured text or similar formatting as the website setup will over ride these settings.
• Please do not send PDFs or Word documents if you want your information posted on the blog. Please only include them if they are to be downloaded or linked to by the site content.
• All images should be sent in separate individual files and be either JPEG or PNG files and in the proper resolution for the screen and internet (72 DPI).
